A little this – a little that!

The Wait

on February 3, 2012

A haiku I wrote this afternoon to try and “eat away” the time I spent waiting. 🙂

The Wait:

Time moves at a drastic pace

Drumming fingertips

Can’t eat away the minutes

I can feel the feeling not to waste the minutes, “Can’t eat away the minutes” =)

The “drastic pace” in waiting rooms is the excruciating ponderance of the ticking second hand on the wallclock matching the drumming of your fingers. The problem is, you cannot speed up the clock by drumming faster, no matter how much you try, right? Wonderful haiku that totally caputures the tortures of “waiting”! Kudos to you, Ray! (You have said that I have encouraged you as you started your blog; now encourage me as I started my first contributing authorship over a ChristianBlessings, http://ptl2010.com, dated 02/03/2012, entitled “Proving Hope Through Praise.” You will find out a lot about this ol’ lady in that post! Appreciate the support, bro!)
