A little this – a little that!

Eve (take 2)

on March 15, 2012

Here’s another perspective of a poem with the title, Eve. Which do you like better?

Eve

The trees, they ache to taste the rain

As the pastel clouds grey above

Twigs paw at the sky, they stretch and twist

Deep pitted thirst to blame

The grass, it yearns to smell the sun

And feel its gold adorn green faces

Throbbing shoulders shiver and tremble

Autumn’s colors come undone

The waves, they hope to find some rest

While endless crashing holds them bound

And holding tears won’t spare them pain

They hold out faith, they’re hopeful yet

Just super ending, “And holding tears won’t spare them pain
They hold out faith, they’re hopeful yet”–pain brings hope so many times, I find. Bless you, Ray!
