While this was originally a photo taken at sunset, the subject looked better brightened up.

Photo Op: Fun Out At Sea

It was cool to see these four enjoying their winter vacation doing a “not-so-winter-like” activity. Plus, I enjoyed watching the dolphins follow them around.

Photo Op: Under the Bridge

Hey guys! Sorry I missed a couple days. Here’s a pic I took at the beach. I took it because I love the texture of the pillars 🙂

Maybe I was being a Bit Overly Ambitious…

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend. Mine was quite busy!

So it seems as though my little challenge was a bit too much for everyone. I understand that with many of your hectic schedules, adding on yet another thing to think about may have been over the top. Since I’ve gotten so few responses, I’m going to end my challenge this week instead of at the end of September. It was still good to take out a week of the month to celebrate novices everywhere! I want to say a special thanks to livingsimplyfree for taking the time to write out a full response post. It was so encouraging to see someone else joining my made up holiday. You’ve got to check out her post here, because she did a fantastic job answering my question, and even took it to the next level. Cheers, livingsimplyfree!

Today’s photo op is called Black on White – When working on this photo, I really put my photo editing skills to the test! I think I like the way it turned out 🙂

Photo Op: Blue Pride

With this pic, I did something I’m a big novice at – photo editing. And I don’t mean just clicking a few buttons and letting the computer do all the work. I edited specific parts to make only the blue feathers stick out (and believe me, it was quite the process!) Plus, I kept his eye red but made the background grey. I’m slowly learning fancy ways to improve my pics. Huzzah to learning!

Photo Op: Everything Looks Better in Black and White

I saw these vines growing on the fence of an old church and had to take a few quick pics! And then once I made them black and white, I thought the vines looked even cooler! Enjoy!
